It’s all part of the fun at this unique theater ride in New Jersey. You might have seen “7D Dark Rides” at various boardwalks and attractions before, but this is the first of its kind to feature an immersive theater experience combining motion seats with other effects to make it feel like you’re right in the middle of the action. And there isn’t just one attraction here – Blast 7-D features five different experiences ranging from exciting to downright chilling, and pits you against a horde of enemies with laser-shooting technology. It’s one of the most thrilling attractions at American Dream – and it’s a great competition for the whole family.

Blast 7D takes the moving theater concept to the next level, with a theater full of special effects and immersive movement to put you in the middle of the action.
Each seat comes equipped with a laser pistol, and after a brief tutorial, you're off on your choice of one of five adventures.
For families, the most popular choice will likely be Los Banditos, a wacky adventure pitting the viewers against an army of robot cowboy robbers in the wild west. The newest and biggest-scale attraction is Gigamon, which plunges the viewer into a city under attack by a massive monster and its minions. Horror is the star attraction, with shows dedicated to zombies and werewolves - but my favorite show here has got to be Carnival, a psychedelic thrill ride through an abandoned carnival haunted by thousands of clowns and other twisted creatures. Ride if you dare! At the end of your ride, you'll find out your high score - perfect for bragging rights over lunch!
